Horizon 2020 European Union Funding for Research & Innovation – Innovative Cost-Effective Technology for Maximizing Aquatic Biomass-Based Molecules for Food, Feed and Cosmetic Applications Project

Within the Horizon 2020 program, a 36-month project was conducted to research the use of bio-based marine algae in food, animal feed, and cosmetics, aiming to develop cost-effective technologies and production practices. The project involved the participation of 10 European institutions, with the Spanish research center AITEX - Asociacion de Investigacion de la Industria Textil as the project coordinator. TABU Solutions contributed to the project as a consortium member. Under the leadership of TABU, social and environmental impact assessments of the targeted products in the project were carried out, as well as developing of new business models for the developed products in the project.
