Sustainable Home Textile Cluster (SETEK) Strategy Consultancy

TABU Solutions provided Strategy Consultancy services to the Sustainable Home Textile Cluster project led by the Bursa Technology Coordination and R&D Center. The Strategy Consultancy, conducted in a holistic and comprehensive manner, involved coordinating professionals from organizations supporting the home textile value chain in Bursa, through a training program conducted by accredited trainers from the European Foundation for Cluster Excellence. The training program aimed to establish a common language and coordination among experts using a holistic approach. With the acquired training, experts conducted alternative strategic segment studies for company groups and created a Technological Capability Inventory for 43 cluster participants. The existing functional statuses were analyzed based on job descriptions and strategic segmentation decisions, and needs analysis studies were conducted. The positions of the companies within the home textile value chain were determined accordingly.

The necessary capabilities and processes were defined for each component of the value chain, and the complementary roles of the companies and their capabilities within the value chain were identified. Through the consultancy service, comprehensive collaborative work was carried out with experts possessing international experience and regional stakeholders, resulting in the preparation of a future plan for the textile sector in the Bursa region
