Supporting the Development of International Competitiveness (UR-GE) Program Revision Consultancy

The UR-GE Support Program Projects, carried out with the financial support of the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Turkey since 2010, underwent a revision in 2017 to enhance their success and effectiveness. TABU Solutions Consulting provided consultancy services for the revision and update of the program. Within the scope of the consultancy, the following tasks were accomplished:

  • The processes related to the implementation of the Ministry's Circular No. 2010/8 were defined.
  • A value chain assessment methodology was developed.
  • Workshops were organized in five provinces with the participation of collaborating organizations involved in UR-GE Projects.
  • Technical specifications were prepared for the collaborating organizations to utilize in their needs analysis.
  • The methodology for needs analysis and the format of the project roadmap were developed.
  • The defined Needs Analysis Methodology was implemented through a pilot cluster selected by the Ministry.
  • Performance evaluation criteria were established to enable the monitoring of UR-GE Project performance.
